Who would benefit from a VMT?

If you are experiencing infertility, abnormal discharge, unusual odors, BV, AV, VVC, UTIs, vulvodynia, endometriosis, any form of vaginitis, or even if you are asymptomatic, a VMT can provide a healthier microbiome.

OR

Take a vaginal microbiome test to find out the microbial composition of your vagina, to discover if you are experiencing a form of dysbiosis, or to see if you may actually qualify as a healthy, L. crispatus-dominant donor.

FAQs

How do you know if the vaginal fluid donations are safe?

Prior to vaginal fluid collection, our donors are screened and tested for HIV, hepatitis (A, B, and C), herpes, syphilis, HPV, CMV, HTLV, mono, chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonas, yeast, and mycoplasma. Their vaginal fluid is also sequenced to confirm >80% of Lactobacillus spp. (and the presence of L. crispatus) and <5% of dysbiosis-associated bacteria.

How do I insert the vaginal microbiota transplant?

You will receive a thin, disposable syringe that can be inserted into the vagina to release the vaginal fluid. The syringe is then immediately removed. We recommend lying down for 15 minutes following use.

How soon will I notice a difference?

Most women have reported symptom relief in 24-48 hours. However, studies have shown that some women require 2-3 transplants before full long-term remission of dysbiosis occurs.
